Hi, I’m Debbie! (a.k.a The Good Food Lady),

I’ve spent over 24 years teaching food safety, nutrition, and wellness, and I'm passionate about helping busy moms like you make your kitchen a place of joy and ease. I know firsthand how challenging it can be to juggle family time, work, and meal prep. My mission is to help you transform your meal routine so you can confidently prepare nutritious, delicious meals without the stress.

A Little About Me:

  • Education: I hold a Master’s degree in Extension Education from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Foods & Nutrition from North Carolina Central University.

  • Experience: As an Area Specialized Agent at NC State Extension, I’ve developed food safety programs and supported families across North Carolina. I’ve also spent years as a Family & Consumer Sciences Agent, helping moms just like you manage their kitchens and plan healthy meals.

  • Certifications: I’m a certified ServSafe Food Protection Manager, NC Safe Plates Instructor, and HACCP Coordinator. Food safety and kitchen efficiency are my specialties.
